HanWagTrail & Travel newcomer, the Najera Low GTX® SURROUND™, has come out on top in the German Wandermagazin 2015 multifunctional trail shoe test. The Najera Low GTX® Surround™ won over the experts, receiving a top score of 87%, the overall test verdict “very good” and the coveted Wandermagazin footwear test seal.

The Najera Mid and Low GTX® SURROUND are the first HANWAG models to incorporate innovative GORE-TEX® SURROUND™ technology. It features a particularly breathable footbed and a special woven ‘spacer’ layer with an open honeycomb structure to allow ventilation at the sides and under the foot – for all-around breathability. This makes our Najeras ideal for outdoor activities in moderate and warmer conditions. As with all GORE-TEX® models, they’re durably waterproof. A shock absorber at the heel and full-length cushioning underfoot ensure comfortable hiking even on long summer days. And thanks to their cemented construction, all our Najera models are resoleable.
