For demanding paths and for long summer excursions, in the new 2015 collection, Asolo offers Avalon Gtx, a well-structured boot where the main characteristics of the Matrix category have been updated with the insertion of new materials and of a new design. The innovative Matrix 2.0 midsole is composed of three different materials: a softer Eva layer on the heel for cushioning, a higher-density Eva layer on the sole of the foot for a better support and a PU protective film. Point of strength of Avalon GV is the new soles (an Asolo exclusive) with a dual density rubber, a heel provided with the Aso-Brake System that improves braking downhill and a self-cleaning tread to facilitate the release of mud. The Asolo Duo Flex® insole is composed of a top layer in Megol for a better insulation and a lower layer in polypropylene to ensure torsional rigidity, with anti-pronation fins and an anti-supination support. This model, which weighs 660 grams (half pair, size 8 UK), is available in the following color variations: night blue-gun metal, graphite-black, grey-gun metal.
