The Nuuksio is a real Declaration of Independence…from the weather. This technical 3-in-1 hooded jacket has been slightly redesigned with even more clever details. The outer jacket in 2-layer construction features an environmentally friendly Sympatex^® membrane, waterproof zips and a removable hood to block out inhospitable storm front winds. The material is comfortably low-noise, absolutely waterproof and windproof, and highly breathable. A split inner lining – mesh lining at the upper section, otherwise with taffeta – improves vapor permeability. Underarm ventilation that usually isn’t found in double jackets likewise ensures good ventilation.

Technical details are what give the insulated inner jacket its edge. With a stylish color-block design, it is insulated with lightweight PrimaLoft^® Silver Insulation Eco (made from 60% recycled materials) which stays drier than conventional synthetic insulation. Lateral stretch inserts made of breathable fleece improve freedom of movement and the jacket’s microclimate. The fabric features environmentally friendly and resource-saving production in accordance with the bluesign^® standard. With two zip pockets, the inner jacket is also a good choice on its own in mild temperatures. One jacket, countless ways to use it.

Of course VAUDE has kept nature in mind not only in how the jacket will be used – but also in the jacket’s manufacturing. The fabric was produced with environmentally friendly and resource-saving methods in accordance with the bluesign^® standard.

The Nuuksio 3in1 Jacket will be available in Autumn 2015 in the colors black, dusty violet and sailor blue (women’s) and pine, hydro blue and eclipse (men’s) in select retail stores.
