Journey Of The Explorers At Swatch Freeride World Tour By The North Face

The North Face® is proud to support the brand’s athletes who will be charging lines at the upcoming 2015 Swatch Freeride World Tour by The North Face^® .

The North Face® athletes including Fabio Studer (Austria), Sam Smoothy (New Zealand), Leo Slemett (France), Xavier De Le Rue (France), Markus Eder (Italy), Sam Anthamatten (Switzerland), Janina Kuzma (New Zealand), and Ralph Backstrom (USA) will each compete at select stops of the tour.

During the tour, The North Face® will be sharing its athletes’ love for the mountains, passion for exploration, and personal journeys at the Explorers’ Den (located at the resort village for each stop). There will be a small installation featuring photography of the brand’s athletes, and highlight pieces from the Fall/Winter 2014 and Fall/Winter 2015 Steep Series collection. The installation will also include a special photography display from Degrees North, a 2-year expedition by Xavier De Le Rue, Sam Anthamatten, and Ralph Backstrom.

There will also be special aperitivo after the main contest, where visitors can have the opportunity to interact with athletes in person. The Explorer’s Den will be open to the public during the tour.
