As per February 1st 2016 MGM has appointed a new Sales Manager for its two outdoor brands, Kayland and Trezeta. His name is Robert Demetz and he is a sports industry veteran that held different positions in both Sales and Marketing management in companies such as Tecnica, Nordica, Diadora, RH+.
During the last four years, Robert served as Sales & Marketing Director for La Sportiva. In his position Robert was appointed for the extension of the worldwide distribution network and the reinforcement and the consolidation of sales for all product lines. Next to his working experience Robert brings as added value to MGM his huge passion for mountain sports such as skiing, rock climbing and hiking. “This is a very important step to relauch our brands” – states Marco Foglio, the President. “Along with the huge investments related to the development of our collection, we really needed to keep on invest in human resources. I’m convinced the Robert’s arrival will enhance the success of the group and its brands”.
The current evolution is mainly due to the acquisition of Kayland. The consequent overall renewal of the company, pushed MGM to new important positioning both in the national and in the global outdoor market. MGM never rests and keeps on investing every day in what it was meant to represent since its foundation: innovation.
