The anticipation for the second edition of the Reda Rewoolution Orobie Ultra-Trail® is growing and 50 days in advance compared to 2015, we can already announce 600 participants from 30 different nations.
In order not to lose the chance to live an unforgettable experience on the trails of the Orobie, Spiagames Outdoor Agency and Asso Orobica remind you that until the end of May the registration fees are blocked at € 125,00 for the Reda Rewoolution Orobie Ultra-Trail®, 140 km and 9500 m EG and € 75,00 for Gran Trail Orobie, 70 Km and 4200 m EG.
Since these months left till the start of the two trail-running races represent for every participant a precious period of preparation and training, we announce the beginning of four different projects with the goal of sharing the stunning context of Bergamo’s Orobie and providing the athletes with technical support.
THE FIRST PROJECT CONSISTS IN THE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST:
It is free of charge, the only requirements are the use of Instagram, to mention in the post the name of the place in province of Bergamo (also with geotag), the use of the #orobieultratrail hashtag and the specific hashtag regarding the month’s topic, as specified as follows.
Starting from today until May 15th the specific hashtag to use is #OUTnature16 and the subjects of the photos have to be exclusively landscapes. Unleash your fantasy to find the most evocative glimpse, the most secret corner that according to you is the most representative of our mountains.
Form May 15th to June 15th the specific hashtag to use will be #OUTpeople16 and the subjects of the photos will have to be exclusively people. Capture the fatigue and the joy of your training partners or of yourselves, or tell your stories through the portraits of the people you meet during your training sessions.
From June 15th to July 15th the specific hashtag to use will be #OUTb&w16, where “b&w” stands for black&white and it consists exclusively in black and white photos. In this case there are no restrictions as for subjects, being as the only requirement is to use shades of grey.
Each campaign will award 3 winners, who will each win an “OUT” safety kit that the OUT and GTO participants have already appreciated at the past edition. They can then pick it up at the offices of Spiagames Outdoor Agency in Bergamo. The winners will be the authors of the three pictures, which in each period will receive the most likes, respecting the contest rules: use of the two hashtags and indication of the location in Bergamo where the photo was taken or geotag.

The second project consists in the activation of the “Reda Rewoolution Orobie Ultra-Trail® Info Points”, that means that 7 specialized sports shops – listed below – will support the event. There you will be able to sign up in the second edition of the two races, receiving also all the information regarding the mandatory equipment and precious tips on getting prepared for these ultra distance races.

The third project is called “KNOW RUN Test Event”, organized and promoted by Dimensione Sport and KappaEmme at Passo di Zambla (at the starting point of the cross country ski area) in the municipality of Oltre il Colle, scheduled for Sunday May 1stfrom 10am to 3pm. This will be a great opportunity, first of all to test the leading brands` trail running products and also to collect further information regarding the ASD Asso Orobica, OUT and GTO, and on how to become a volunteer of the Reda Rewoolution Orobie Ultra-Trail®!
Last but not least, the project “Obiettivo Gto”, created and managed by a pool of sports professionals – coaches and Fidal technicians, along with osteopaths and masseur/physiotherapists – who will be at your disposal to prepare and undertake by your side and in the best way possible, the Gran Trail Orobie.
