Adventure Awards Days, the international festival of exploration, is back from the 10th to the 12th of May 2019 in Garda Trentino, and for it’s eighth edition it will take place in a new location: the medieval village of Canale di Tenno.

The Adventure Awards Days are first and foremost an opportunity to share a passion: for traveling, for nature, for a different lifestyle.
Two days of experiences to live, stories to share, of dreams from which to be inspired, of friends with whom to drink a beer with and organize an adventure, Canale di Tenno, with its title as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Arco, the capital of the outdoors, and the most suggestive corners of the Garda Trentino area will be the privileged stage of a rich program of events.

The event will open Friday, May 10th with Lamine, an evening organized in collaboration with Skialper, at Palazzo Marchetti in Arco, where we will talk about the pioneers of the steepness, those who “explored” the emptiness with their skis.

On Saturday night, the Adventure Night, evening of entertainment in which exploration stories, adventures and dreams are told with international guests, with the writer and storyteller Michele Dalai, the explorer Stefano Gregoretti and the music of Guido Foddis music.

Saturday and Sunday, many appointments. Saturday begins with the free workshop with the climber and illustrator (author of the 2018 and 2019 festival image) Jeremy Collins: “Art creation for everyone”, the wood*ing in search of berries and edible roots with chef Valeria Mosca, trekking or trail running with the Wild Tee team, reaching the San Pietro lodge to listen to the sunset concert of the quartet of strings Artime Quartet that will play Into the wild and other soundtracks, from Morricone onwards.

On Sunday you can wake up with a Yoga session between trees and the lake, then there is the writing and creativity for images workshop with Federico Ravassard, the running and trekking event “Catch and bring it back”, a game that takes place between woods and mountains in collaboration with Cascada and last but not least the ever-present Adventure Bike Day, to discover the most beautiful gravel roads in the area.

In the central square in Canale di Tenno, the Adventure Days village, where all the activities will start from and return, where you can drink a beer or a coffee in company, where there will be a series of meetings: from the scrumbling one – that is the vertical exploration of our mountains – at the award ceremony of the Blogger Contest and also the presentation of the book “La meccanica delle nuvole” with Emilio Previtali.

The AD will also host this year the Worn Wear of Patagonia and the Vibram Sole Factor: the first is a real sartorial space where it will be possible to fix any outdoor clothing of any brand, making them look like new. The second is a laboratory where you can replace the soles of your shoes, giving them a new life. Two projects that testify a proper attention to the environment and to the responsible consumption.

The fourth edition of Arco Rock Star is also scheduled, an event in the event: the international climbing photography contest, with important prizes which will involve teams of photographers and athletes, professionals and amateurs, from all over Europe, who will compete on the rocks of Garda Trentino searching for the best photograph.

Great news! After the enthusiasm gathered in 2018 for the involvement of Jane Goodall on the environmental theme, this year there will be UP2U, the summit of the environmental associations. An opportunity for meetings, trainings and comparison for all those operating in the field of environmental protection, with a rich program and activities open to all.
From fundraising to marketing, from communication to creativity linked to the environment, UP2U will also be an opportunity to exchange, to network and to present environmental projects, but also a space to share ideas, because living outdoor also means being aware of the impact that the human being can have on nature.

The part dedicated to films, Adventure Days Film Festival, becomes an independent event to be held in the historic center of Rovereto on the 12th and the 13th of July 2019, with great guests, important projections and meetings.
