With its Good For Alps Project AKU demonstrates a special sensitivity for the relationship that binds humans and the mountain environment. This is one of the things that recently led Stiftung Warentest to award the company an important acknowledgement.
Stiftung Warentest is a German consumer organisation and foundation involved in the unbiased investigation and comparison of goods and services. It has an important role in two main areas. On the one hand its task is to compare objective aspects such as usefulness, functionality and environmental impact, and on the other to educate consumers so they can learn how to make the best use of their available income and behave in a way that promotes healthy living and environmental awareness.
A selected product by AKU – the Trekker Lite Boot – is one of the products to have been awarded the highest rating in several different tests: a great achievement for the Italian brand and its customers.
