The multinational sports and outdoor brand BERG Outdoor will be present at ISPO 2017, the biggest trade fair in the world dedicated to the sporting industry, which takes place every year in Munich, where it will present its latest products and innovations to over 80,000 visitors. BERG Outdoor’s products are already available in around 20 countries, so its presence at the trade fair will serve to strengthen the brand’s internationalisation strategy.
Miguel Tolentino, Managing Director of BERG Outdoor, stated: “We are committed to the expansion of BERG Outdoor, which already offers its products in around 20 countries around the world. We aim to strengthen our distribution network in Europe, but we are also open to opportunities which make sense in other markets and that contribute to strengthening BERG Outdoor’s global presence, creating value for everyone: customers, business partners and the brand.”
From the 5th to the 8th of February, BERG Outdoor will be positioned in the A1 hall, with its own 135m2 stand and a specialised team, showcasing some of its most recent products which reflect a strong focus on innovation and bring together quality, design, high technicality and price.
To demonstrate this will be the technical Kalani waterproof coat and the technical Maddner coat, two highly breathable and ergonomic products, specially developed for intensive outdoor activity. Footwear items to be featured include Bilby boots, with a Vibram® sole specially developed for BERG Outdoor, and that feature exceptional grip and traction in any terrain; and the versatile Jindo urban trainers, which include original Portuguese Burel wool and combine casual styles for a stylish and comfortable day.
Miguel Tolentino explains, “we are very proud to be attending this global event for the fifth year running. Given its size and global reach, we are convinced that the ISPO 2017 will be an excellent opportunity to showcase our collection and emphasise the focus on innovation in our new products to potential customers, as well as to business partners.”
BERG Outdoor’s products are available in specialised multi-brand retailers, and in online stores, like Amazon. BERG Outdoor also has its own platforms which serve digital customers on an international scale.
In addition to the strong focus on product innovation, its expansion also benefits from a multicultural team and from the input of top international athletes, such as the ultramarathoner Carlos Sá, winner of Badwater, one of the hardest ultramarathons in the world which takes place annually in Death Valley, USA.
