The Freeride World Tour (FWT) has added Victor De Le Rue (FRA) to its already talent stacked 2019 roster.
Victor De Le Rue, french big mountain charger and brother of former FWT champion, Xavier De Le Rue has joined the ranks of one of the most talent packed FWT rosters in history.
Joining the 2019 FWT as a season wild card, De Le Rue will have the opportunity to put his big mountain and freestyle skills to the test against the world’s best. Like his brother, Victor is constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible in the mountains and has made a name for himself as one of the most original and exciting talents in freeride snowboarding.
Growing up in the French Pyrenees as the younger brother of freeride legend Xavier, Victor quickly became his own force to be reckoned with winning the French junior championships in boardercross, slopestyle and halfpipe.
In recent years, Victor has blown the minds of the snowboarding community with awe-inspiring segments in movies like Dopamine, Heavy Mental and Origins. His pursuits have been well recognized across the snowboard world with honors, which have included French Rider of the Year in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and Snowboarder magazine’s #3 Rider of the Year 2015.
With the addition of Victor to an incredible lineup of riders competing across the globe’s best freeride venues, the 2019 FWT is going to be insane.
