Achim Löffler, 43, to head GORE-TEX® Footwear, Gloves & Accessories worldwide business with immediate effect. Former job holder Christian Langer takes over leadership of Fabrics Division at W. L. Gore & Associates.

Achim Löffler has held various positions at W.L. Gore & Associates over the past 12 years. Since early 2013 he has headed the Sport and Outdoor business of GORE-TEX® Footwear. He now takes on responsibility not only for the entire global GORE-TEX® Footwear business but also for GORE-TEX® Gloves & Accessories.

Christian Langer, who headed the business unit for over 8 years, will be assuming joint responsibility with Mike McCollam for the Fabrics Division at W.L. Gore Associates. As Achim Löffler’s successor, Matthias Zaggl is to take over leadership of the Sport and Outdoor business. Zaggl previously headed GORE RUNNING WEAR® and GORE BIKE WEAR®. Since the middle of 2013 Richard Leckenwalter has been responsible for the Casual and Kids Footwear business.
