The creative vision for DPS Cinematic germinated a few years ago when DPS founder Stephan Drake and cinematographer Ben Sturgulewski filmed together in Alaska for the making of ‘Last Light’, and then later in ‘Solitaire’.

Fast-forward to 2014, and DPS Cinematic, in association with Gore- Tex and Outdoor Research, is proud to announce the second release from the 14/15 ‘The Shadow Campaign’ series. ‘Whitewash’ transports you to Mt. Baker with the Pacific Northwest at its finest. After closely monitoring a storm cycle from points around the globe, DPS Koalas Zack Giffin, Olof Larsson, and Piers Solomon materialized in a last-minute thrust for the deepest Baker storm of last season, skiing five consecutive days in a white, late February woodland paradise.

What emerged was deep tree skiing at its finest. The crew took to road laps and skins, and skied until their bodies could go no further. Enjoy this tasty short film.
