In a world exclusive, Crazy presents its new mountaineering, ski touring and trail running collection to the international outdoor pursuits media. Vibrant colours, comfort and technical fabrics are just some of boxes ticked by the Fall/Winter collection Crazy recently unveiled to its distributors, bringing forward its presentation to meet the latter’s needs and market’s new timelines.
- FLAME JKT
The Flame Jacket has been given a great new look but remains as functional as ever. Ideal for trail running and active ski touring when the pace is fast and the weather inclement. The chest and outsides of the arms are made from ultralight Airtastic nylon which is both windproof and water-repellent, while the inner padding is light and breathable. An innovative fleece has been used for the back and the lower arms – although it helps wick moisture away from the body, it also has a DWR coating that will protect the wearer from bad weather. The hood even has a semi-rigid anti-drip visor. There are two outer breast pockets, one zipped and the other fast-opening with elastic edging and a Velcro strip, as well as an inner pocket for gloves and hat. All details that underscore Crazy’s take on the pure Fast & Light vibe.
- UMBOLT TOP
This ¾ zip top was designed for the Italian national Winter Trail Running team of which Crazy is technical partner. The Umbolt top is made from microfiber with a Graphene print which makes it even more abrasion-resistant, improves its thermo-regulation and reduces both static electricity and friction. It also has two handy elastic-edged breast pockets, an outside pocket with whistle, and an inside pocket. This is a high tech top designed specifically for sky runners as hinted at by a high neck that offers improved wind protection and a wristband that can easily double as a handy glove if required.
- UMBOLT LEGGINGS
These leggings were designed in partnership with the Italian national Trail Running team of which Crazy is technical partner. They are from microfiber with a Graphene print which makes them even more abrasion-resistant, improves thermo-regulation and reduces both static electricity as well as speeding up superficial microcirculation to rapidly clear lactic acid, improving performance in both training and competition. Their high drawstring waistband includes three pockets for gels, sunglasses and wind jacket as well as a zipped back pocket. The elasticated waist also has a slender but efficient silicone strip to guarantee a perfect grip.
- CHANNEL JKT
The Channel Jkt has a hybrid construction designed to protect the wearer’s front and back, thanks to no-stitch I-TUBE nylon with a light JOY padding that has all the advantages of natural down without any of the negatives. The sides and waistband are made from soft, breathable, water-repellent Italian Fleece Vuelta. The shoulders and sleeves are in light, elastic, water-repellent Airtastic Toray. There’s also an opening front zip, a fully elastic hood and zipped hand pockets.
- KINSEJ TOP
A half-zip top designed for the Italian national Winter Trail Running team for which Crazy is technical partner. The Kinsej top is made from cosy, comfortable, stretch High Performance fabric with brushed finish inside. The front half-zip, an elastic-edged Easy Access outside pocket with safety whistle, high protective neck and wrist cuffs that double as gloves combine to make this an extremely specialised, high performance piece of trail running kit.

The Crazy Kinsey leggings are the result of our partnership with the Italian national women’s Winter Trail Running team. Made from much warmer, more comfortable and breathable High Performance, they are designed specifically for the female shape with a superbly comfortable stitch-free construction in the underleg area and sport a vibrant print below the knee. A high waistband with two pockets is the Crazy detail that makes all the difference: its wide elastic band is ideal for tucking away gloves, headband or gels as well as a zipped inside for smartphone or keys.
