French skier Loic Collomb Patton confirms himself as World Champion of Freeride once again, bringing his trusted ski BLIZZARD Gunsmoke and his Technical Cochise Pro 130 on the highest step of the podium.
The Swatch Freeride World Tour tests the best skiers in the world on the most spectacular and dangerous peaks on the planet. Entertainment and adrenaline never end, although the Tours’ very last stage, the traditional challenge on the Xtreme Verbier in Switzerland, was cancelled due to bad weather. Collomb Patton, however, had already built his success with the exceptional stage of Chamonix, Mont Blanc, and two second places in Fieberbrunn, Austria, and Haines, Alaska.
Loic has chosen TECNICA /BLIZZARD since 2013: like every real champion, he is an extreme perfectionist, he is the first test-man of the products he uses and he cooperates in improving them with the Group’s engineers in order to always meet the freeriders’ needs with skis and boots of the highest standard, beyond expectations. But the good news does not end with the male athletes: with the success of the Extreme Verbier (second victory in this season, after the stage of Andorra) the american female athlete Jackie Paaso earned a second place in the final standings.
