The presentation of the latest prototypes and a talk given by Heinz Mayrhofer, Head of Research & Development at Fischer Sports, generated a lot of enthusiasm: “It’s great to discuss the latest developments with the athletes. After all, they’re the ones who test our equipment in the toughest of conditions and push it to the limit.” The prototypes in particular were extremely popular and participants couldn’t wait to put them to the test: “Let’s go and assemble the bindings on those skis – now,” is how top French athlete Leo Viret put it.
Martin Eisenknapp, organiser of the meeting and product Manager Tour: “We have established the basis. All that remains to do now is take care of the fine-tuning for the upcoming season with all the new Fischer equipment including skis, bindings and poles, together with the complete apparel package from Löffler. We have set our sights high – especially the long distance races such as Pierra Menta in France and Adamello Ski Raid in Italy, which this year will again be part of the World Cup, are highlights which are frequently mentioned. We wish them every success!”
