The European Outdoor Group (EOG) is pleased to announce that the sports business platform ISPO, organiser of the key industry trade show, and industry giant W.L Gore & Associates have signed as major sponsors of the highly anticipated European Outdoor Summit (EOS) 2016, which will take place from 29-30th September at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Barcelona, Spain.
Supported by the sector’s largest brands and organisations, this key industry event brings together more than 300 senior executives within the outdoor industry from across Europe and beyond. Attendees participate in a dynamic and interactive event, which focuses on key strategic issues facing the sector. This year’s theme is ‘AN INDUSTRY IN EVOLUTION’, as we meet to discuss how we adapt to rapidly changing times, and how our sector can remain at the forefront of innovative developments.
ISPO and W.L Gore & Associates have supported the EOS since its inception in 2013 and are once again taking on key sponsorship roles. ISPO MUNICH hosts Europe’s largest sports and outdoor trade show, which sees over 2,600 international exhibitors present their latest products to over 83,000 visitors from more than 109 countries and is regarded a key event in the industry’s winter calendar. W.L. Gore & Associates has made its name by creating innovative, technology-driven solutions from medical devices to its high-performance GORE-TEX® fabrics. Through its ongoing support of EOS, Gore is maintaining its prominent position as a key player in the outdoor industry.
Mark Held General Secretary of the EOG, comments: “ISPO and W.L Gore & Associates have both been supporters of the EOS from the very beginning and clearly understand and appreciate the many benefits the event brings to the whole of the outdoor industry. The EOS has fast become a key fixture in the calendar and without the backing of brands and organisations it could not take place; so we very much welcome and value their ongoing support and input, and look forward to working with our partners and sponsors to build on the success of previous summits.”
