Kayland is proud to announce the new Aconcagua project 2016: Silvano Forgiarini, Giuseppe Vidoni, Puntel Mauro will attempt the Aconcangua, facing the the “Polish route“.

“The main purpose of this expedition is reaching the summit of the Aconcagua (6959mt). The route chosen by the three alpinist is the so-called “Polish route”, a quite demanding route, to be paved mainly on ice, in particular close to the summit, at almost 7000mt altitude.
South America is well-know as an area where weather changes quickly and it is hard to foresee the conditions of the wall you want to climb. Very hard because of weather might be also the acquaintance phase. In case of very bad conditions, we will try on the “False Polish”, the route we chose however for the descent”.
