LaspoKid is the line that La Sportiva dedicates to children who love life in the mountains and the outdoors. This line of footwear naturally promotes growth (both physical and mental thanks to elements and solutions that promote freedom, proprioception, interaction with the environment and “sensorial comfort”. In this collection, three models represent the technical essence of La Sportiva thanks to specially developed technology for children’s feet, the Zero-Press Construction™, that avoids constriction and pressure points in the growth areas of the foot and the Sensor-Max Concept™ – an exclusive outsole/midsole package, designed for tactile stimulation when in contact with the ground.
But that’s not all, because La Sportiva has designed not only the technical aspect of the shoes but also the marketing side of the range. To promote the child’s interaction with elements linked to the image and history of La Sportiva, the company uses a trans-medial approach starting with the interactive packaging, and continues with a comic dedicated to the characters of the LaspoKids line and finally LaspoKid appears online with cartoons designed for both the young and not so young.
The Flash, Gripit and Scout models have been designed for running, climbing and hiking: 3 different products for 3 different fun activities in the mountains, in the company of the new characters created by La Sportiva: LaspoBoy and LaspoGirl the friendly mini-heroes with superpowers provided by their shoes, a present which they receive from Adam Ondra who appears in comic form to guide the children through the discovery of nature and mountain sports.

LaspoBoy: Francesco is a shy but strong and energetic boy who loves to spend time outdoors with his friends even though he is afraid of heights. Thanks to his La Sportiva boots he is able to overcome his fears and discover the secrets of climbing, learning from those older than him.
LaspoGirl: Eva is quite a reserved little girl: she spends her time reading and day dreaming. She is very bright but is a little afraid of her peers until she puts on her La Sportiva boots: then she likes to play and go out and challenge her friends running and climbing and discovering the magic of the mountains.

SCOUT
Scout is the hiking boot for kids and part of the LaspoKid line, created to naturally promote growth both mental and physical, thanks to technical solutions and the design that promotes proprioception, interaction with the environment and “sensorial comfort” allowing the child to “feel the ground below him” and to develop his own motor skills. The Zero-Press Construction™ eliminates pressure points in the growth areas of the foot, the uppers are extremely soft and the Thermo Tech Application™ reduces stitching to the minimum, helping to contain both weight and volumes. The super rapid lacing system, the sole and insole with Sensor-Max Concept™ designed to promote tactile stimulation in contact with the ground, the integrated toe and heel all-in-one protection eliminates compression on the uppers. GRIPIT
A climbing shoe for kids with No-Edge technology, part of the LaspoKid line, with a wide range of technical features that promote freedom of movement and proprioception allowing the child to “feel the rock” and to develop his motor skills. The Zero-Press Construction™ has been designed to eliminate pressure points in the growth area of the foot, avoiding constriction in the metatarsus area which is important for the correct development of the child’s foot. The No-Edge technology guarantees that there are no sharp edges on the sole and provides for greater sensibility on the holds and therefore helps to promote sensorial development and proprioception. The lacing system is both a technical feature and a design element. The Fast Lacing System allows for a custom fit of the shoe and wraps around the heel while the Velcro strap can per personalized with two different preformed shapes supplied in the packaging.
