La Sportiva, a Val di Fiemme company, leader in the production of technical equipment for mountain sports, renews the iconic TX4 approach footwear line, introducing TX4 Evo, TX4 Evo GTX and TX4 Evo Mid GTX. The three models represent our new offer in this category for Spring/Summer 2024 and are intended to raise the bar for adventures on rocks and scree during the approach phases.
In the new Evo version, this footwear maintains the same sensitivity and precision properties of the previous models. However, the updated tread design and patented Impact Brake System® block structure guarantee increased grip when descending and perfect traction control when climbing, even on the roughest terrain. The generous Climbing Zone, at the toe, provides precision and excellent grip when climbing and during tricky sections. The double lacing technology, derived from the iconic Mythos, ensures greater precision and an excellent fit of the shoe, while the more pronounced toe cap is designed to increase toe protection.
The main feature of the new line is Resole Platform, an insert thanks to which it is possible to resole your shoes by replacing the worn tread, extending the lifespan of the shoe, obviously without compromising its technical characteristics and fit. A conscious choice on the part of the consumer, who can continue to use footwear that has adapted well to their feet over the years, while reducing their environmental footprint. The practice of resoling has always been part of the culture of the Trentino company, which today offers the possibility of resoling equipment in the approach, climbing and mountaineering categories, thanks to a large network of highly specialised artisan resolers.
The models have been designed to guarantee high standards of technicality and comfort while ensuring maximum protection for the wearer’s foot. Compared to the TX4 Evo, the TX4 Evo GTX model features the addition of the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, certified Bluesign®, which makes the shoe waterproof and breathable even during prolonged use, while the version mid-cut is designed to ensure greater stability and protect the shoe from the entry of debris.
