The annual Winter ski-marathon event in Italy’s Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa will get on track in about 70 days, and the local OC decided to make a ‘gift’ to the so-called Marcialonga addicted!
As said in the past months, registration for the 2017 Marcialonga is closed – it opened and closed in only 8 minutes last June – however, the Marcialonga management board now gives sport lovers a new chance of being part of one of the most popular XC skiing event in the world. Here is the deal: 70 further bibs are available to those who register to the two Marcialonga event scheduled in 2017, namely on 4 June (Cycling Craft) and on 3 September (Running Coop), other than the ski-marathon. In so doing, these racers will join the unique Punto3 Craft combined event that sums up the three results.
The total fee for the three 2017 Marcialonga events is 150 Euro and the deadline is next November 30. Marcialonga super fans you better hurry!
The Winter event will celebrate its 44th anniversary next 29 January along the 70k-long track that runs from Moena to Cavalese across both alpine valleys of Fassa and Fiemme. Both the Cycling and Running races are younger than the race scheduled next January, but every year they gather hundreds of sport passionates at the feet of stunning Italian Dolomites. In 2017, history will be repeating itself and skiers, cyclists and runners will make Marcialonga history once again.
