Calling all future leaders of the outdoors to sign up now – early bird rate available until 14th July
The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) in partnership with ISPO ACADEMY is pleased to announce that the recently launched Outdoors Future Camp conference and networking event, is open for registration. Bookings can be made with an ‘Early Bird’ discount until Friday 14th July here.
Taking place on the 5th and 6th September 2017 in Ecclesall, Sheffield, the Outdoors Future Camp is a joint initiative by the OIA and ISPO ACADEMY, which is designed to inform, inspire, challenge and bring together the future leaders of the outdoor recreation industries.
Unlike other annual outdoor industry conferences, the Camp is aimed at younger up and coming outdoor professionals rather than senior management. Whether you are already working in the industry and looking to take the next step in your career, or are new to the outdoors and looking to get your foot in the door, the Outdoors Future Camp offers the perfect platform to take you to the next level.
Promised to be fun and engaging, the two-day camping event will offer the ideal opportunity for the next generation of outdoor industry leaders to learn, network and make connections in an informal yet stimulating environment; equipping them with the tools to grow both personally and professionally.
Inspirational keynote speakers, breakout sessions and workshops, team-building and an adventure team challenge will take place in the daytime, while a hog roast and live music will bring a festival atmosphere for all to enjoy in the evening.
CEO of the OIA Andrew Denton, said: “Continual investment in and development of the next generation of industry leaders is key to securing the future of the outdoors, so we created this event to bring together enthusiastic and dynamic young individuals looking to progress their careers in this fantastic industry.
“The Camp is open to all. Whether you are in retail, sales & marketing, product management, a representative, agent or distributor staff, activity centre and hostel staff or instructor, or simply an avid outdoor enthusiast wanting to develop a career in the outdoors, then this is your opportunity to receive some invaluable insight and guidance from industry leaders that were once where you are now. The Outdoors Future Camp could be instrumental in helping you fulfil your potential in the outdoors – sign up now!”
Speakers will be announced shortly, and will be of the highest business calibre from both inside and outside the outdoor industry and drawn from across the world.
