Today we reveal what shape the future will take for the outdoor industry at Lake Constance: from September 17 – 19, 2019, we are organising “OUTDOOR Friedrichshafen – the trade fair for retail!” on the grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen.

“Authentic – Hands-on – Visionary“: with this concept we are organising an event for you that concentrates on the genuine core outdoor topics and is directed exclusively towards specialist retailers.

On the exhibitor side, we are paying special attention to the small and medium-size producers and brands, which are absolutely essential in providing the variety and innovative force for this sector. By scheduling the event outside of the main sales season, we are simultaneously aiming to accommodate owner-operated specialist retail companies as well. Situated in the centre of the German-Austrian-Swiss region, we also view this as the location of our core target group – particularly as the lake, hinterland and mountains provide a picturesque setting to ensure that authentic outdoors feeling.

We are providing the real players with a new, old home – in authentic surroundings, with pragmatic approaches and a healthy hands-on mentality. At the same time, we have completely redesigned the trade fair and developed a format that benefits both industry and retail by supplying efficiency and genuine added value – examples include affordably priced complete stand construction packages for exhibitors, networking and catering areas in all halls with refreshments included for exhibitors and trade visitors.
