Five Ten has led the approach shoe category for three decades; now we’ve upped the ante with the new Access, a blend of hiking shoe performance and support built with ultra-durable, lightweight running shoe materials. This modern Five Tennie is a lightweight approach shoe that can “go anywhere and do anything™.” The stealth S1 outsoles feature a climbing zone for added durability, technical edging, and smearing performance. Deep heel lugs penetrate the dirt for stability on descents. The lightweight EVA midsole has a high rubber content, which increases shock absorption and adds durability.

The access is available in both leather and mesh versions. The leather version has a toe cap for extra protection and perforations on the toe vamp for added breathability. For warm weather try the knitted sandwich mesh model, also with a protective synthetic toe cap. Both shoes feature a rubberized exoskeleton lacing system for added torsional support.
