Only this way can the entire experience of the pros be used to develop and improve the items further. The result: optimized and thought-through details for ambitious freeride uses. In its Alyeska combination, Mammut relies on the technically high-quality and robust GORE-TEX® pro-laminate. It is permanently breathable, water- and wind-tight. These are ideal prerequisites for extreme and sporty adventures on the slope.

The Alyeska Pro HS Jacket of GORE-TEX® Pro 3- layered laminate meets the highest technical demands. The material is not only constructed for harsh weather, but also suitable for frequent changes between stress and recovery during the downhill runs. The tried-and- tested membrane ensures that steam can be discharged away from the body, while keeping the jacket permanently wind- and water-tight.

Perfect fit and unlimited freedom of movement are ensured by practical equipment details, such as a pre- formed, trilaterally adjustable hood that can be adapted to any helmet shape or size. Additionally, a gusset at the collar adjusts width in the neck and head area. The breast pocket is particularly important, as it permits quick access to the Barryvox® (avalanche beacon). The jacket does not need to be opened completely to reach the device quickly. A second breast pocket and an inner pocket with a cable outlet offer stowage space for small pieces of equipment. The inner pocket has an integrated lens-cleaning cloth to ensure a clear view.
