As an all-year rain jacket the Fineline Stretch Rain Shell is light, stretchable and packs down compactly in its chest pocket and can be clipped with a carabiner to the harness. Thanks to the BD.dry™ material the FineLine jacket is waterproof and breathable – no matter if in a summer storm or a humid mountain summer mist. The FineLine Stretch Rain Shell is durable and has a slim fit – the choice for all adventures on the mountain.

Black Diamond has been successfully using the BD.dry™ material in gloves for years. In the S18 collection for the first time as a 2.5 layers fabric in rain wear in four jackets and two pants. The BD.dry™ rain clothing is available as StormLine and FineLine. Both lines are waterproof (10K), windproof and breathable (10k) thanks to the 2.5 layer fabric with two-way stretch. A lightweight material was chosen in order to compactly pack the fully functional jacket and pants and clip them to the harness with a carabiner.
