Nanga Pàrbat, in Pakistan, is the nineth highest mountain in the world.

The first ascent was achieved on 3 July 1953 by the Austrian mountaineer Hermann Buhl, considered one of the greatest alpinists of all time.

Gifted with truly exceptional strength, stamina and willpower, he practised extreme climbing, and was already legendary in his own time.

Light Hunter stems from a heritage spanning four generations of photographers who, since the late 19th century through to the present day, have documented and popularized every facet of the Alpine environment and the Italian Dolomites.
