Less weight up the summit
“Consistently lightweight” was the motto for the development of the Scopi LW. VAUDE’s lightest touring backpack with a practical roll closure weighs less than a bottle of beer. But that’s not to say it can handle less. With optional 22 or 32 liters pack volume, the Scopi LW offers enough space for peak experiences. It’s made of lightweight, siliconized 40 D ripstop and a robust material at the bottom and sides. VAUDE product designers kept its profile lean for unrestricted movement, and features are geared for fast & light tours without sacrificing comfort.
Everything a backpack needs!
VAUDE used a special lightweight construction for the padding, shoulder straps, hipbelt and buckles. Various attachment options for trekking poles or ice picks weren’t forgotten. The narrow strip of the Synergy Mold back padding runs anatomically along contact points with your back into a thin – yet slightly wider – suspension system. A practical roll-top with zip provides quick access to the pack. Two flexible and removable 10 mm aluminum struts and a covered back pad provide stability. The hip and compression straps can also be removed completely, saving ultralight tuning freaks another 100 grams.
To top it off, the environment also experiences soothing relief, because the pack was made in accordance with VAUDE’s Green Shape criteria with resource conserving manufacturing. All in all, a very viable solution for both mankind and the environment.
The lightweight Scopi LW pack will be available starting Spring 2016 in two colors sleek rock grey and bright lava red.
