The peak of Cerro Torre is considered to be one of the world’s most inaccessible because whichever route is chosen, the climbers have to scale at least 900 metres of a sheer granite rock face to reach a summit which is nearly always covered by a “mushroom” of rime ice. Plus, the climatic conditions of the region are particularly unfavourable.

Light Hunter stems from a heritage spanning four generations of photographers who, since the late 19th century through to the present day, have documented and popularized every facet of the Alpine environment and the Italian Dolomites. From superb photos to the written word, from printing to clothing, the scope of action has broadened, giving rise to the renowned collection of quality T-shirts, with their alluring prints, historical quotations and timeless emotion-provoking images.
