A tribute to the first ascent of Mont Blanc by Jacques Balmat and Michel Gabriel Paccard. Considered at the time as an foolish and reckless expedition beyond the capability of a human being, with willfulness and undisputed audacity Balmat and Paccard disproved the theorists who claimed the feat impossible, to succeed where many before them were forced into defeat. Sinking into the deep snow, between cold and virgin ice expanses, without the right equipment but aided by an ancient sense of conquest, the pair won their challenge.
