The Mystix appears aggressive and pointed, meaning it can be placed extremely precisely and facilitates the necessary pull even on the smallest footholds. It offers enough stability in the forefoot and at the same time it is flexible enough to impress in difficult sloper-heavy bouldering routes. In order to achieve these properties, the Mystix features a specially designed 2-zone midsole which was developed using CAD. In combination with a 3.5 mm thick Vibram XS-Grip-Sole this provides a particularly sensitive climbing feeling.

The Mystix shows its strengths especially in steep terrain. The strong pre-tensioning optimally supports the foot muscles for the perfect move on an overhang. The RC Dual Tension Slingshot, an anatomically shaped heel pull, ensures the permanent pre-tensioning. What makes this special is that the Slingshot is made from two rubber mixtures of differing degrees of hardness. While the softer black rubber adapts optimally to different foot shapes, the harder red rubber ensures a consistent, stable fit around the Achilles’ heel.

The crossed Velcro strap closure system permits individual adjustment with one quick pull. This allows the MYSTIX to be put on and taken off quickly without compromising performance, and thanks to the large toe patch and the raised rubber at the heel, the Mystix leaves nothing to be desired when hooking.
