Both the outer shell (45%) and eye-catching mélange backing (100%) are made from recycled polyester. In addition, VAUDE has ensured that all textile components are made from mono-material polyester, which makes it easy to recycle. The stretchy Windproof 100 material is breathable and offers reliable protection from wind and rain showers on mountain and hiking tours. As in all its softshells and other water repellent models, VAUDE uses only fluorocarbon-free waterproofing (Ecofinish) for the good of the environment.
