Sebastian Steudtner is grew up in Germany and is one of Europe’s most successful Big Wave Surfers.
In 2010 he was the first European in the history of surfing to win the Billabong XXL Award, which is considered the Oscar of Big Wave Surfing, while riding a wave measured at 22 meters in Hawaii.

We met him during the IMS days and we had the possibility to listen from his voice why mountains and waves are not so different and what are the common factors that snowboard and mountaineering share with surf.
