The Test & Feel tour, promoted by the Trentino brand, dedicated to the trail running world through 24 stages in specialized stores, where the public can learn about the SS2018 Mountain Running collection, is about to commence: 3 new models, 4 countries and a single Tour: La Sportiva presents the Run-in-Shop Tour.
From Italy, which will open the event on the 4th of April at GAL SPORT in Aosta, to Spain, where the 4TrailRunning in Bilbao will close the tour on the 10th of May. . Run-In-Shop consists of 24 events that will also touch France and Germany, in this first edition all to be discovered. Just like every Test & Feel event by La Sportiva, the aim of this new carousel dedicated to off road racing enthusiasts is not just to introduce the new products of the current season. First of all there is the desire to share the passion that has driven the company to product technical footwear for the mountains since 1928, when the first pair of boots was made by Narciso Delladio in Val di Fiemme. There is the desire to continue growing while remaining close to the needs of every single runner, sharing ideas with them has seen the birth and development of the most specific components of each product: unique and special, like any athlete. During the events, the three new models for the 2018 season, will be presented: from long distance to vertical kilometre, Unika, Lycan and VK will satisfy the needs dictated by every style of running and all types of runner. All this in pure La Sportiva style, where innovation and technology meet passion and genius.
THE FIRST MADE IN EUROPE MODEL
The first Mountain running model made entirely in Europe, Unika is designed for use on medium, long and extreme distances. This model is Unique in technology too with the Infinitoo midsole, the lace-up Harness and the progressive stability lugs, that allow the shoe to adapt dynamically to uneven ground.
OFF-ROAD SPIRIT
Lycan, is a trail running shoe perfect for medium-distance racing, training and skyrunning. It is comfortable thanks to the large volumes and quick fit. Suitable for all off-road racing enthusiasts, especially on rocky terrain thanks to a rock-ground sole in Frixion Blue compound, which is extremely durable.
THE PRODUCT FOR THE VERTICAL KILOMETRE
VK is the model designed for “only-up” racing, developed in collaboration with the champion Urban Zemmer. Weights and volumes are reduced to a minimum thanks to the wraparound upper made with Sock-line technology and the super light sole with the rubber tread present only in the front.
Run-in-Shop is not just synonymous with footwear: in addition to footwear, the La Sportiva collection dedicated to mountain running becomes a total look thanks to the technical and stylish clothing line that can be found in the shop and tested on the day of the event thanks to the complimentary T-shirt with Polygene technology offered to the participants. Promoters and La Sportiva athletes will be in the stores to help the shop staff illustrate in details of the different models, and to answer any questions before going out and testing the footwear on the ground for which it was developed.
