A true winner: The Scarpa Ribelle Tech OD is chosen by the judges of the ISPO Awards 2017/2018 as the “product of the year” in the category outdoor. On board: the innovative OutDry technology. It makes the shoe completely waterproof and breathable.

The Ribelle is an ultimate mountain boot for light weight fans and specialists who are looking for an innovative shoe for hard treks, via ferrata and technical ascents.
Weighing only 580 grams per pair (size 42 ½), the mid-height shoe with integrated, elastic gaiter is extremely light in its category. In order to maintain its lightness and to provide outstanding fit throughout the tour, Scarpa has chosen OutDry technology for this project.

With OutDry technology the membrane is laminated directly on the inner side of the Ribelle’s upper fabric, up to the top of the gaiter. That means, water cannot accumulate in the gap between the waterproof lining and the upper as water and cold are already stopped by the hard wearing upper material made of KCN Tech. Thus, the shoe hardly absorbs any water with no weight increase, and the breathability always remains at the highest level.
