Now we’re gone by the 4th Edition of Skyrhune, to Ascain, in the French Basque Country, 30th September 2017. Skyrhune became an inescapable Race of the French Calendar of the end of season. This edition 2017 will be of new Final Manche of Skyrunning National Series France.
All the ingredients which made the success of the event are seen out for this Edition 2017. An unchanged route since its creation of 21km and 1700d +. Very requiring and especially spectacular, always between Mountain and Ocean. The records are held by Céline LAFAYE (2:23 – 2016) and Aritz EGEA (1:55 – 2015). An atmosphere of madness on the slopes of Rhune: a real popular craze. Big one celebrate the evening after the Race at the heart of the Village.
